Welcome to WorldWideBluegrass.com, also known as The WWB!

Founded in 2006 by Gracie Muldoon of Kentucky, and supported for eight years by the listening faithful and volunteer staff!  The streaming  24/7 radio website's programs were hosted by volunteers from all over the world! Canada, Holland, USA, Germany, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand and England, with thousands of hours of dedication by many individuals, going into the project. The WWB is all about Bluegrass music education and entertainment.  The common goal was to educate and promote the music and artists from all over the world which perform and compose, to a level, not reached by many artists in other genres. Bluegrass music,  it's artists, style, "stories" and resulting established industry, has increased in size in some small part,  by the efforts of  WWB volunteers! Working, not for pay,  but propelled by the love for Bluegrass music and it's artists, The WWB promoted Bluegrass,  as it's own genre, not just sub-genre of Country or Americana music. Connecting in the WWB free chat room, during "live" shows,  many folks made new Bluegrass friends and ended up starting new bands or writing new songs!  Other online Bluegrass stations you find today, were birthed right here. The WWB WorldWideBluegrass.com is all about Bluegrass - and that's all you're hear from us!

Our fans and listeners, were the reason for our successes. The music of  professional and  "indie" artists from local and worldwide regions was offered up by WWB hosts, for free listening.  Many new bands, were first "heard" at the WWB and gained international airplay and recognition.  Bluegrass is not dead - Bluegrass is growing faster than ever.  Be a part of the excitement!  Eighteen million Bluegrass music lovers can't be wrong!

Coming back, after many emails and letters, the WWB and it's music has returned after a 3 month shutdown.  We hope to be here for you - whenever you're feelin' a little blue --GRASS!

Currently we are ADDING NEW SHOWS and NEW music!! There are will be more "live" shows, and begin shortly!  Stay tuned for a schedule of new programs, but especially for the great bluegrass music you will enjoy right here at the WWB - the Original LIVE Bluegrass -ONLY station!

Steep Canyon Rangers love the WWB!

We also want to thank our many fans and listeners for taking part in this Bluegrass experiment! They not only gave of their time,  "favors" and encouragement, but also inspired us to hold on to this effort and come back. So we did, we're here for you, too! Our sponsors, are responsible,  for the wonderful music you will enjoy streaming from this site.  The circle is small in the Bluegrass family - come be part of it! It's all about music and love.  In the words of our dear friend Geoff Morris, "No worries!"

This website is dedicated to the memory of the late Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Carter Stanley,  Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs,  Dixie Hall,  DJ Geoff Morris, Jean Johnson and last but not least, the Rev. Carl Howard and wife Mary, Gracie Muldoon's "bluegrass daddy" and mother, who donated the first streaming WWB computer. There are many, many others which were artists, songwriters,  performers, writers, promoters and "lovers"  of this wonderful music, that are "gone" and that no longer grace us with their presence. They will never be forgotten.  We're here to make sure of that.

Our wonderful mother left the bonds of this earth to rejoin our dad in Heaven with Jesus.  Please keep the family and friends of Mary H. Howard in your prayers.  Mary and her husband Rev Carl I. Howard were instrumental in starting the WWB by donating the first streaming laptop computer.  If not for that donation, the work would've never been started and you wouldn't be enjoying the great Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel music here. Prayers are much appreciated during this time.  Until we meet them again, we will never forget their contribution to Bluegrass music.

The WWB WorldWideBluegrass.com  will accept any "love" gift to help defray our costs of streaming, royalties and general site maintenance.  Please know that your gift is appreciated and will help  the education and enjoyment of bluegrass music and its artists and industry, to continue.  We cannot do it alone. These gifts are NOT tax deductible, but valuable to our efforts.  If you shop online, you can also click on our EBATES button below to help our
