Description:
Steve Bilbrey - Born in Ft Knox, KY in 1967. My family and I soon moved to Rickman, TN - east of Nashville on the Cumberland Plateau. I graduated from Rickman High in 1985 and still live there with my two sons.
I have been exposed to Bluegrass my whole life, growing up with the music of the Stanley Brothers, Bill Monroe, and Flatt & Scruggs. As I got older I was introduced to the sounds of 3rd Tyme Out, Lonesome River Band, and others. With the quality of the 2nd and 3rd generation Bluegrass bands the music is here to stay.
As a DJ I hope to do my part to further the popularity of Bluegrass music. |
