Biography:
In the center of the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky is a stunning hundred mile stretch of the Kentucky River called the Palisades. It contains a system of locks and dams, numerous deep gorges and stunning limestone cliffs. The Palisades are also home to rare, protected wildlife and plants which are native to the Bluegrass Region. It’s the place where our DJ River first sat outside and picked. “Living on the Kentucky River was such a special time - it was like a mini festival in my yard on weekends - with music, campfires, fishing, and swimming. For me, bluegrass music is best experienced live and outdoors. I’m a festival go-er and a camper”, explains River. She has prior DJ experience with 2 land stations in the Bluegrass Region and is a musician herself part time. “Im thrilled to be part of the WWB family. Bluegrass on the Internet! What a great idea.
