Biography:
Lee's full name is Ernest Lee Elliott. He was born on April 8, 1938,
on Mosley Branch of Little Indian Creek, Knox County, Kentucky.
Lee's father was a farmer, coal minor & mechanic. He played guitar.
Lee's mother played fiddle, guitar & mandolin.
Lee learned to play guitar from his mother.
Lee has worked as a disc jockey and anouncer at am & fm radio
stations in Kentucky, Ohio, Florida & Alabama.
Many people know Lee Elliott as an expert string & fretted
instrument repairman.
He has designed and built several acoustic instruments in recent
years.
These days, Lee spends his time writing songs and pickin' his banjo. |
