Biography:
Adrian Sheets was born in Bluefield, West Virginia and raised in Tazewell, Virginia. He attended Tazewell High School and graduated in June of 2011. Adrian is currently attending college at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, or Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Virginia. Adrian is double majoring in Animal and Poultry Sciences and Dairy Science. Since he is at Virginia Tech for the biggest part of the year, you will most likely hear him broadcasting live from Virginia Tech. Adrian was first introduced to bluegrass music in 2007. He heard a local band playing and fell in love with the banjo. He got a banjo later that year as a Christmas gift and began playing. He plays the banjo, Dobro, upright bass, and guitar. His passion is really bluegrass gospel but he enjoys all kinds of bluegrass music. Adrian Sheets currently works in the funeral service industry as an Assistant Funeral Director for Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Tazewell, Virginia.
