Description:
Lead singer/guitarist, Mike Bentley, has been involved with bluegrass music for several years now, and puts everything he has into every song he sings. He is most heavily influenced by the lead vocals of Ronnie Bowman, Steve Gulley, Marty Raybon and Keith Whitley. Mike writes a lot of original tunes and takes great pride in his songwriting, as well as his vocal and instrumental parts with the band. He has already released a solo project entitled, "Kentucky Blues", of which he wrote 6 of the 11 tunes. The liner notes for this project were written by Steve Gulley, the lead singer of the newly formed bluegrass group, Grasstowne, who says: "You can tell instantly Mike is "The Real Deal". Mike and his wife Olivia, reside at Virgie, Kentucky, in Pike County.
