Description:
Jerry is married and has four daughters. He started playing Bluegrass Music at 12 yrs old around the Knoxville area. The band was called THE KNOXVILLE NEWGRASS BOYS and included Gibbs High School classmate Phil Leadbetter on dobro. Over the years, Butler has performed with Lynwood Lunsford and the Misty Valley Boys, the Joe Isaacs Band, the Blue Valley Boys, and Pine Mountain Railroad. He joined Lorraine Jordan and the Carolina Road Band, in November 2006, and shares the lead vocal position with Jordan and also plays the guitar. He enjoys traveling the roads, meeting the folks and getting to see new places (I'm the ultimate tourist and I've got a Hollywood map of the stars homes to prove it). |
